Stress fracture in his foot. More to come later in the day
UK’s release:
Kentucky freshman Patrick Patterson will miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left ankle. Patterson, the only freshman ranked among the SEC’s top 10 scorers (16.4 points per game) and rebounders (7.7 rebounds per game), had an x-ray taken Friday morning at the UK Hospital that confirmed the injury.
Patterson is wearing a cast on his left foot and will be out approximately eight weeks.

February 29th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
please don’t be true.
February 29th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
I’ve thought he’s been limping a little for a few weeks. I’ll be interested in hearing whether this is an injury he has had for a while.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
this cant be true….p pat would be better with one leg in a wheel chair than jared carter on a good day.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
Wow, that’s just awful. He’s going to have a miserable few games watching us lose from the bench, I really feel for PPat.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
I am going to go and cry in the corner now…
February 29th, 2008 at 2:01 pm
NAME YOUR SOURCE!!!!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:01 pm

February 29th, 2008 at 2:01 pm
Good call, 13, haha.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:02 pm
Well, there goes the UT possible win as well as NCAA bid.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
You’re kidding right
February 29th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
I feel bad for Ramel and Joe also
February 29th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
Matt it’s leap year. Any April Fools jokes should wait until tomorrow.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:04 pm
I think that I’d pass on the NIT without him too.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:06 pm
Crushing ….just when there was a glimmer of hope
screw work I’m going home
February 29th, 2008 at 2:07 pm
I just read it on rivals.com, came here to see if it was reported yet. Un-f*cking-believable…

February 29th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
You’re right #21, they’ve really pulled through and worked SO hard this year, and now that really won’t pay off as much.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
Our trainers are to blame!! PPat has been hobbling on that ankle since the Houston Game. I hope our trainers are working at Berea Colege next year making minimum wage.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
wow, never mind.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:11 pm
just a couple positives from this:
1) PPat is definatly back next year now.
2) South Carolina and Florida are not dominant down low, neither is Tennessee, so not saying they will win these games but at least teams wont abuse them down low.
Those are basically the only positives. Dark day for UK.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:12 pm
this is the worst news of all. kind of poetic, the way this season has gone.
Hopefully we can band together and see some unknowns step up. this will be interesting to watch.

28) you’re either kidding or you’re a dumbass!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
Dark, dark, dark day for the University of Kentucky. I want to cry. And cry. And cry some more.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
[...] first season at the University of Kentucky. Word has just came down from Kentucky.com (via Kentucky Sports Radio) that Patrick Patterson has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left [...]
February 29th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
Stay optimistic. Perry, A.J. and Jared will pick up the slack. Now’s the time to prove themselves as something other than a paperweight.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
is our training staff the worst ever?
February 29th, 2008 at 2:15 pm
not to add on to the misery, but reports are Demarcus Cousins has committed to UAB
February 29th, 2008 at 2:17 pm
So who do we think will play on Sunday in his place? Will BCG go with Stevenson-Coury or Stevenson-Stewart, or use one of the bigger guys?
February 29th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
I’m just hoping this means that all of the bad luck that was due for this program for a 10 year period decided to hit all at once so that maybe, just maybe, the next few years we’ll catch a few “breaks” (no pun intended.)
This blows.
This F-ing blows so bad.
I hate Florida.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
39) Dammit I can’t take anymore bad news.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
…D’OH!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:21 pm
Chism is going to eat Stevenson’s lunch. Which is good because at least it won’t go to waste…. Nope, not even that cheesy play on words makes me feel better.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
39) Great timing on that one.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
I guess this means (I HOPE this means) that they’ll just shut Jodie down for the rest of the season too. He needs the rest and now there ain’t a whole lot of reasons for him to come back.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
The year from injury hell continues.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Guys relax, I just talked to Never Hurry Curry, and he tells me hes got this under control!.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:26 pm
Blame mama Patterson. If she’d only given him more milk as a child…….
Just kidding. He has limped on it for months. Better with a broken ankle than most fully healthy.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:26 pm
BULLSHITTTTTTTTTTT…Ive never experienced an injury plagued season with any team ive ever cheered for like this one…..Un f-en Believable
February 29th, 2008 at 2:27 pm
Ouch. That really is too bad. Tennessee’s slaughter of the Cats on Sunday will now seem empty to me a little bit.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
Someone has suggested that the Craft Center’s floor has insufficient give to it which has resulted in many injuries to the men and women.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
48 who is curry? maybe you mean mark COURY. good attempt at a bad joke though.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
Let’s be serious here…. This sucks…. But even with the inevitable loss to Ten. we will still go up in the RPI. We can beat SC without patterson. And if we have ramel beat the piss out of calathes the night before we play FL we will win that game. We can beat an Ole Miss for one game in the SEC tourney without Pat if someone like stewart or harris plays out of their mind. And we could still make the Tourney as a possible 12 seed. And maybe by then Patterson could decide to come back…. Or our guys get so amped that we win the first game in the tourney without patterson. Who wouldn’t have taken one win in the NCAA tourney if it was offered to them a month ago????
I realize that I sayed ‘could’ a lot…. But this is UK BASKETBALL Dammit!!!!
Stranger things have happened in our storied history!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
Have Stewart and Carter logged 40 minutes combined for the year? Coach will wish taht he’d gotten those two in a little more.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
if Patterson still had Legion’s mom’s holy oil this wouldnt have happened
February 29th, 2008 at 2:30 pm
Can we at least get Jodie Meeks out there? Our basketball is a “Health Care Crisis.”
February 29th, 2008 at 2:30 pm
I say we just run the shit out of the ball and jack up 3s Grinnell style. Scherbenske needs some clock, he did play at Oak Hill ya know
February 29th, 2008 at 2:30 pm
Well, I think that pretty well wraps it up.
Even if we do win a game or two, you have to think we are still a bubble team. And I have to think the selection committee would prefer a healthy bubble team over our poor boys.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
51: Eat a dick.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:32 pm
I’d get my guys in the gym shooting threes right away. I wouldn’t practice anything else except how to come off screens for pick and pops.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
suck it slow payne. go back to your own little page…..read wildcatblitz.com and enjoy your 1 good season.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
53) Yes sir sorry for typo and good attempt at a bad joke! I really am sorry about that next time i’ll focus more on our training staff like you! Thanks … Have a nice day!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:36 pm
Worst news possible
Now we need to let Crawford And Bradley jack up 50 shots a game
Meanwhile 100% focus on recruiting
February 29th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
Yeah, 57, I think if we had Hillary or Barack’s Universal Health Care plan, the team would be a lot better off. But, alas, they’re uninsured.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
Stay classy Payne….you stay classy.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
Dammit. Can we sign up for the wheelchair tourney. F!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:38 pm
I can’t remember the last time I cried, but I am coming real close to doing so right now.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:39 pm
All is not lost, we just need a bigger dose of the “COURY FLURRY!!!”
February 29th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
I don’t understand what the basketball health gods have against us this year!!! This is freaking unbelievable!!!! I just want to cry!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Maybe I’m an optimist, but Im not giving up on the season. Stress fracture means out a minimum of 6-8 weeks. Someone must step up and we must get meeks back.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:41 pm
In the end, everyone should be proud of this team. And be proud of this coach for getting this far and giving fans hope. That hope is gone, but the guys played hard.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:43 pm
With so many injuries to both the mens and womens teams, one has to wonder if maybe there is some truth to the faulty Craft Center floors theory. Might be worth looking into.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
did someone just kick me in the goodies?
i am hurting…
February 29th, 2008 at 2:45 pm
I hate it for Ramel and Joe the worst. They have had a 180′ turnaround.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:45 pm
Let’s not forget about the rest of the team. We can’t give up on them. We owe it to them all to support them to the end. Thats why we are UK. We don’t give up on our team and our players.
Like my late grandfather used to say in times of despair. “STOP SUCKIN YOUR THUMB. IT’S 4TH AND 8 BOYS, NOW WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?!”
February 29th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
Its more like 4th and 20. It’s gonna take a bomb or two to get where we want to be. We’ll see.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
Ramon Harris - Stress Fracture(foot)
Jodie Meeks - Stress Fracture(hip)
Patrick Patterson - Stress Fracture(ankle)
Joe Crawford - Plantar Fasciatis
Carly Ormerod - Turf Toe
February 29th, 2008 at 2:48 pm
Gonna need Jasper and Perry to rebound like madmen the rest of the year. The WHOLE team has to crash the boards now.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
Im so sick. We were doing so good. Why couldn’t it have been Coury! DAMMIT I CANT STAND IT
February 29th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
OK Folks, we lose to UT, no shock there, we can beat SC, we MUST beat SC and then a senior day matchup against Fla. anything could happen there. On the other hand we could lose all three and be NIT bound and hook up against Tubby?!?!?! Who knows, strange strange year indeed.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
Ramel, Joe, Meeks, Jasper, and Stevenson. Same squad as we would’ve had had Patrick Patterson not put on that beautiful blue hat last May.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
payne-is that what you have when your boyfriend sticks it up your ass
February 29th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
OH NO… WE SUCK AGAIN!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:52 pm
Welcome to the big time, AJ Stewart.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Do we go with 4 guard lineup?
February 29th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Hey Payne, let’s hear your rendition of the Tenn fight song played on the old “Skin Flute” with the key of A as the “Root Chord”.
I think I’ll go jump off a bridge now.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:54 pm

February 29th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
75, I agree, hate it for Joe and Ramel.
One bright note, better this year than a year when we are in the running for a championship.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
The commity will take away a lot of the credit we have earned because they will realize what a loss this is. If we don’t have some miraculous finish to the year they are not in. That means win out the regular season or win the SEC tournament. Sounds impossible with out Patterson and that is why the commity won’t wat us without ppat.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
Couisins just commited to UAB,This day cant get any worse,or can it?
February 29th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
So this might be the worst 15 minutes in sporting news history for me personally. I just took a screen shot of the ESPN.com front page that has the story about Patrick, the story about Alex Gonzalez the Reds (only) SS having a broken knee, and the story about X Bengals FS Madieu Williams leaving and signing with the Vikings. I’ll catch you all later as I head to the nearest bridge to mourn the loss of the only 3 sports teams I actually care about.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:56 pm
wow..just wow. this could spark something incredible, but odds are we
just lost our tourny streak. sh*t P*ss is all i can say
February 29th, 2008 at 2:56 pm
i think someone posted this earlier, but i just read it… more bad news on a depressing day… http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2008/02/top_prospect_cousins_commits_t.htm l
February 29th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
I guess we get to find out what Jared Carter is really made of.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:57 pm
It’s true - DeMarcus Cousins to UAB.
http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2008/02/top_prospect_cousins_commits_t.htm l
What a day…
February 29th, 2008 at 2:58 pm
#92, i totally agree, the bengals reds and cats all lose today, and so do the poor fans that support those three teams
February 29th, 2008 at 2:58 pm
76) Nice one! It’s the bottom of the 9th, we’ve hit the 2 minute warning, and need a three pointer for the win. The pithcer checks the runners, calls an audible and steps behind the arch. The ball leaves his fingertips…..slowly thru the air it flies…heading toward the uprights…people stand in anticipation…holding their breath…the ball heads downward…Bill Keightley passes out…the ball…it….it…..hits the crossbar….bounces up….and…and….and…falls to the ground, NO GOOD! Life ain’t no fairy tale! Hey, at least the BatCats are awesome!
February 29th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
Well, it was a good run. Hopefully AJ Stewart can give us some minutes cuz if not, bye bye NCAA. But I think he may help out some, but this just means Crawford and Bradley have to bring their A game and other people need to step up. This is really crappy news. Sucks for him especially since he was in the top for being freshmen of the year.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
look for joe crawford to turn back into his old self. dribble 25 seconds off the shot clock with his head down and then run over three people going to the basket. so much fun to watch!!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
UT is going to ass rape us on national tv.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:03 pm
Uuuuggghhhhhh!!!! Unbelievable!!! Time to go play some golf, basketball season just ended. Even if we squeeze out two more wins the we won’t make tourney because of PPat loss. And if we don’t, let’s please not accept the friggin NIT. Let’s just end this misery as quickly as possible.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:03 pm
part of me is depressed, but i also think it’s very possible to play tennessee close, beat sc, and beat florida at rupp…call me crazy, but i think we still have a shot at making the field of 65…
February 29th, 2008 at 3:03 pm
# 78 Looks like over work
I think Gillispie got here by pushing it to the limit and tried to take it up a notch because he was at the best program in the US but the human body has its limits and I think he may have crossed some of those limits.
Ramon Harris - Stress Fracture(foot)
Jodie Meeks - Stress Fracture(hip)
Patrick Patterson - Stress Fracture(ankle)
Joe Crawford - Plantar Fasciatis
Carly Ormerod - Turf Toe
February 29th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
And one more thing, the first person that blames this season on BCG and Tuby leaving, I’m coming through your monitor!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
At least we’ll get to see how good Tubby’s team is now.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
so im seriosuly sick….i feel so back for joe and ramel
February 29th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
104 Okay your it you *%*&%^*% moron!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:06 pm
102) i disagree, i think 2-1 and at least a win or two in the sec tourney gets us in…whether we can do that or not w/out ppat is another thing, and i don’t want to play in the NIT, but i wouldn’t pass up a bid…
February 29th, 2008 at 3:06 pm
97 and 92 I know this stings but like the intern said earlier, Cousins has verbally committed to UAB today as well!!! This will go down as one of the saddest days in kentuckinatti history!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
You got to think that if injuries really are taken into consideration, that we could win at SC and one or two in the tourned and still make it?????!!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:08 pm

I agree with this totally we need to get this out of our systems and then unite behind this team like never before. Like the Unforgetables in ‘92 we need to remember this is Kentucky Basketball and we love this program and lets give every ounce of support to this team and who knows maybe they start playing out of their heads and do some crazy things. This year has already showed us this team can overcome seemingly Insurmountable ods and we are not fair weather fans. As UK fans we view ourselves as the program and the reason for its success and I know we can’t will this team to success but we can give all our support and give it every chance to succeed. So we must expect the impossible because we are Kentucky and this team has earned that respect.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:13 pm
Well isn’t this just the crap sandwich I needed at the end of a bad day……
February 29th, 2008 at 3:13 pm
Why would PPat going down hurt our chances at the tournament even if we win games? If anything, UK might get some slack…
February 29th, 2008 at 3:14 pm
117. Not a chance.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:14 pm
[Darth Vader]: NOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
117 because in the past they have not seeded teams as High as they would have been because of a late season injury to a star player.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
If, heaven forbid, we don’t make the NCAA, we’d be crazy to not accept an NIT bid. We need all the experience we can get, plus it wouldn’t be fair to Joe and Ramel to not let them play as long as possible.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
I bet we average 30 pts/game for the next 3 games.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:17 pm
117 Committee has always said they take into account injuries when chossing teams. When Kenyon Martin got hurt several years ago Cincinatti’s seed was reduced. Without PPat they will not consider us tournament worthy. Not really fair but that is the reality. If we could beat USC and Florida and then win a game in the SEC tourney we MIGHT have a chance. Anything short of that and we are toast.
More realistically we will probably end up 17 and 13 now.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:18 pm
Don’t worry folks…Morikayno is ready to average a double-double clear through the final four.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY TRUE!!!! K-Mart was hurt the last game of the conf. tourney. If we can win 2 of 3 we could still solidify a bid because we would have shown that we could win without him!!! Doesnt look promising, but possible none the less.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
117. Pat was the huge reason why we had gotten on this run.
If might be different if he had sprined an ankle and could
be back for the tournament.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
They’re not going to let our wonderful medical staff work on him are they?
February 29th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
125. Remember @ Houston??
February 29th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
I blame CBS for giving us good press. If they would have just dogged on us some more P-Pat would have been totaly fine. WAY TO GO CBS!

February 29th, 2008 at 3:29 pm
Damn Tubby
February 29th, 2008 at 3:29 pm
I remember back in the Arkansas game last week where Patterson was limping. I wonder that was when he hurt his leg and practicing and playing wednesday..Sometimes you just do not its that bad and unknowlingly
made it worse by playing..that happens…Patty Pat was not bad Wed, but he did not seem himself.
maybe i am overanalyzing this and he hurt during one of the practices this week.
sorry for him, the team, the the coach and especially the two seniors who have been great leaders
and buying into BIlly G’s system.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
This is disheartening and there is no way to spin it as a positive. I agree with those who feel especially for the seniors (in addition to Pat obviously). To the extent that there is any plus in the situation is that it’s an opportunity presented for Jared Carter and AJ Stewart to get valuable court time this year. That could prove invaluable next year if one or both seize the opportunity and show that they can play.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
Doesn’t Randolph Morris have a few games of eligibility remaining? I’m sure he would love to come back and play a few games rather than sit the NBA bench.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:32 pm
ya just hope there is a blessing in disguise who steps up..maybe not lead us to the tourney..but
we find a player who be a solid contribution to the team.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:33 pm
in the future
February 29th, 2008 at 3:34 pm
If he heals in 6 weeks he may eligible by the time we make it to Final Four weekend. Go Cats!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
HAHAHHAHHAHHA 114………………The only laugh I’ve had since I heard the news.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:37 pm
We are going to be just fine!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:43 pm
Last post from me, slitting my wrists horizontally…the right way to do it. Bye
February 29th, 2008 at 3:44 pm
How important has PPat been this season?
IMO, he is to Gillespie what Mashburn was to Pitino.
A five star athlete and five star person who can turn the program around in the same way Mash did… dominating on court play with a never, ever quit motor, a man child who recruits will flock to play with and a young man who will make his university proud forever.
His importance cannot be overstated.
Get well, Patrick.
We all look forward to seeing how much you improve over the summer and anticipate a monster season in what is likely to be your “Senior” year.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
This is Hilary Clintons fault.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:52 pm
I guess we are going to pay the price for not developing a bench.
It’s ridiculous for our big 3 to average 38 minutes per game.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:54 pm
I hate to say this, but this is going to drag the whole team down. I doubt we see the same effort from them for the rest of season. Joe and Ramel have just starting stepping up so I don’t see them overcoming this loss. Such a shame. I hope I’m proven wrong.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:54 pm
So does Williams see the floor at all? When was his last in-game action?
February 29th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
147)i disagree…you can’t say their minutes are ridiculous just b/c ppat is hurt now, BCG was playing the 3 best players alot b/c of a lack of talent…who would’ve taken those minutes? i’m sure if he would’ve known ppat would get hurt he would’ve cut his minutes back and played aj carter and coury more. hindsight is 20/20
February 29th, 2008 at 3:57 pm
I want to take back all those things I said about his play in the second half of the ole miss game and I am voting for
1)The Unhealables
February 29th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
(147) tell that to Red Auerbach
February 29th, 2008 at 3:59 pm
I love how all the “coaches” on here would have known exactly what to do to prevent this from happening. It happens, get over it, move on. It is nobody’s fault. If the Seniors want their careers to be over they will stop showing effort. If they want to keep playing, they will have to give more effort.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:59 pm
150) I guess BCG could not sneak a few minutes out of some of the
bench players. Half the team has been injured this year. Maybe if thy
had some rest they wouldn’t be so worn down. They play too many minutes.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
I’m no fortune teller, but do ya remember the Houston game without PatPat? On second thought….please don’t answer that.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:05 pm
From ESPN:
“the Wildcats may have to rely more heavily on sophomore forward Perry Stevenson and seldom-used junior Jared Carter and freshman Mo Williams”

#148 I dont think the team will give up. But they will fight harder. They have given to much to just throw in the towel because PP is hurt. The problem is going to be getting a new game plan in before tomorrow morning. OUr offense used to run through PP now it is going to be through the guards. 4 guards (bradley, Crawford, Razor Ramon, Jasper, and then run Stevenson, Stewert and Carter at um. Press and run and gun and have fun.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:09 pm
#154 When were we going to develop this bench? When we were losing in the second half of all these SEC games? Who did you want to put in? Obviously you think little of Porter. I can only imagine how you feel about Carter and Williams. Easy for you to have all the answers now. If he would have been playing Carter, Porter, and Williams during these close SEC games, you would have been the first one crying about it. Go coach a team since you have all the answers, of course you already have a higher paying job than the rest of us. You must be the smartest man alive.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
154) every game has been a close game…uk’s lack of talent on the bench requires the better players (the big 3, jasper, perry) to play alot of minutes, i’m just sayin, our bench is terrible…porter, aj, carter, coury, the member, etc. are simply not good enough to be effective in the sec, and you can’t blame this injury on the players being worn down…they have won those close games b/c they haven’t been fatigued at the end of the games, a direct result of playing alot of minutes, i’m not a coach, but i know we have no one on the bench that can step up and play some quality minutes against high caliber D1 opponents
February 29th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
Im going to throw this computer out the window if we get anymore bad news.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:10 pm
Does anyone else find it strange that presser is live or is that normal? I’m in the dark on those things.
Tough break for us (again), we shall see how steps up Sunday. Hang in there boyz.
GO CATS!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:12 pm
and when i say “no one on the bench” i don’t consider japser and stevenson coming off the bench, everyone knows w/ meeks out they are the 4th and 5th best players on the team
February 29th, 2008 at 4:13 pm
i have stuff to do before the BCG press conference, hopefully when i come back to the computer there won’t be more bad news…GO CATS!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:14 pm
Thanks Tubs for the great bench. Tubs really bent us over!!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
159) Suck it
February 29th, 2008 at 4:18 pm
Is Carter a Junior or Soph. On Fox sports it say Junior. I didnt think we recruited anybody after the McDonalds all -american class.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:18 pm
When is the press conference?
February 29th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
Hey GoCats, I guess AJ wasn’t good enough to take his warmups off
all year. But the talented Mark Coury is allowed to start. Explain that
you dolt.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
#166 For such an intelligent guy that is a brilliant response
February 29th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
#169 I cant explain it, im not the coach and neither are you. Go coach your own team, I’m sure you would have made all the right moves to avoid any possible injuries
February 29th, 2008 at 4:22 pm
170) thanks hick
February 29th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
171) You can’t explain it because it’s a ridiculous
notion for Coury to start and AJ to rot on the bench. Good
try though.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:26 pm
Hick? You dont know me, you dont know where Im from. All I said was you are not the coach. I admit I cant explain why Coury plays but you need to admit that there is no way to prevent these type of injuries. They happen. Time to move on.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:36 pm
Can someone tell me when the press conf is?

February 29th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
can also listen on wlap.com
February 29th, 2008 at 6:44 pm
It’s a bad streak of injuries this year, but it happens. All we can
do now is get behind the rest of the team and back them the best we
can. This team didn’t give up on us, {fans}, even when some fans had
give up on them early in the year. I’ll be here for Ramel, Joe, and
the rest of the team for as far as they go or where ever they go.
May God be with BCG and his Mash unit till it’s over. GO CATS!!!!!!

#58 Actually I think it is Corky the down syndrome. Didn’t every one know that Mark Corky was just a giant down syndrome kid. Every one should really give him a break. I feel sorry for Corky. He just doesn’t get it and never will because he has an extra copy of chromosome 21. Sorry guys Corky is not the answer.

The present travails manifest a time when character is clearly exposed–the character of everyone concerned: players, coaches, fans, and even posters here on KSR. Ask yourself players, coaches, fans: Who am I? What am I doing?
