So we arent streaming yet, which means if you dont live in the Louisville area, then you wont likely hear the show. However the streaming is coming soon and we will keep you updated here. In addition, we will have some podcasts for you on here based on what we do on the radio. For now however we have news that Jodie Meeks practiced all day today and is close to back to 100 percent.
I will update you on anything that happens this evening and if you are in the Louisville area, check it out. The phone number (I think) is 502-992-0849. Holla…..

We just need Jodie to start hitting his shots. i would love for him to have a coming-out party against UT. Say, 38 pts….

We get him and Jasper back we will be .500 this year. Which is great, I think. Go to NIT and win a few there.
By the way, 1st. Just for you guys who love that kind of thing.

Am I the only one that thinks the new time is inconvenient? I always enjoyed listening when I was on my way home from work…8 oclock Im not by a radio..I like that they have a new scheme with better support, but the time frame for the show isn’t that great..

Once Jasper and Meeks get fully healthy we will be pretty good. I look forward to it, of course. I will be in the stands tomorrow night. If we can just come out and get hot we could shit on them. Of course if depends on which defensive effort shows up. The “D” we put on Vandy or the lack of “D” we put on Florida. I can’t wait to be back in Rupp. I hope the atmosphere is electric. If I hear anyone say anything bad about the players or the coach. I will say, “Sit down and STFU.” I am tired of hearing people bash this team. GO CATS!!! I don’t care what LES MILES says we support your effort.

Nice try #2 but you will always be the first loser.

News that Jodie is getting close to 100% is great, if true! Personally, I don’t expect to see him or Jasper either 100% this season.
No matter how bad they want, or how hard they work at it, your body, even when young, needs time to heal and condition.
I just watched the 1981 LSU vs UK in Rupp, and in doing so it was a strong reminder of the numbers, size, and talent level UK has had in the past. For example, on that team, PP would have played a lot, but he would not have started, and been the heart of the front court of the team.
We have a good start at rebuilding, but it will take time to get back to top 5 level.

#7, the game is totally different now than it was then. There aren’t any real centers out there. I can’t name any dominant ones in college. Hibbert was supposed to be that but… hell, there really aren’t many dominant centers in the league.

#8 agreed most teams have 2 pf’s or 1 pf and a 6′7 or 6′8 wing type player
January 21st, 2008 at 7:49 pm
UNC does not have a true center but has 4 PF’s they’ll play (sometimes 3 at the same time)

Hey Matt, you probably announced this some other time in the past, but whatever happened to your podcasts on iTunes? I see you have your show listed on there but there hasn’t been any recent shows added in several months. Any chance you guys will bring that back? I just got iPod Touch.

Jodie Meeks reminds me of Ryan Inman from Meade County

Tooter Booger,
Thanks for turning me on to Blackstone Cherry–my God that band is right up my alley–I had flashbacks to Stone Temple Pilots in the mid 90’s and it was great. They have got to be one of the best “unknown” bands in the country.

15) Yep, they are from right here in Southcentral Kentucky (Edmonton) and have been on tour with Saliva, Buckcherry, Hinder over the past year. Even played with Aerosmith over in London a couple of months ago. They are home right now about to get started on their 2nd CD.
Back to Basketball, wonder what Rick Majerus had for dinner??hahah

I wish the show cold move to whas then I could get it up here in northern kentucky, I had to treat my Kentucky basketball depression tonight with a viewing of the 98 kentucky/duke game, I feel better now!

This picture shows off Jodie’s athleticism. Something we haven’t seen since Big Blue Madness. Jody is a true talent when healthy. I have to agree that we may not see the real Jodie this season. I hope Jasper gets his back as well. Remember how well Jasper could attack the basket before he got a bum knee. The injury has allowed derrick to develop more of a jump shot which will never be his strong suit but it will make the defense honest and make derrick a more complete player if he makes it back to healthy.
