Arkansas Players are Rolling with the Dough….

by @ 2:30 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

See the picture above? You might think its just a random group of guys out on the town with their hats askew, hoping to see some ladies and take them out for a malt after study hall. But this picture from the great blog Losers With Socks tells us that it is actually Patrick Beverly and Michael Washington, two Arkansas players, rollin around town, letting the ladies know who has the “straight cash homey”. They must pay well around Hog town…

    1st!

  2. deWildcats Says:

That’s a serious amount of cash being counted by “One Way”
What does one do at Arkansas to make that kind of money?

  3. Gerry DiNardo Says:

“Are Kanasas” must pay better than LSU

  4. Collie Says:

    Hummm…..

  5. CatfaninaHat Says:

Hey! Aren’t those Dwayne Casey’s hands to left of one way? Me thinks they prematurely opened a FEDEX package!

  6. deWildcats Says:

    “Dwayne Casey’s hands” … LMAO

  7. bcgobsession Says:

With those fugly mugs they need to be floating around some cash!
(if they want to get laid)

  8. Mike Kleitz Says:

    10) lol

lets see ….spending money in Irag for 3 years or giving money to lazy welfare recipients for 50 years…hmmm

  9. TheGuyPitinoForgotToPutOnTheGuyThrowingTheBallInBounds Says:

That’s a good tradeoff Kleitz. Please don’t run for office anytime soon.

  10. YodaCAT Says:

13- hides behind his religion, he does. Calvary Baptist

  11. Intern Says:

Either Pat Beverly is doing his best Kirby Puckett impression or he’s stoned to the bejeesus. Or both.

  12. Mike Kleitz Says:

#15 how exactly do I hide again. You’re free to click on my link and find out exactly where I stand

  13. Tom Says:

    16) Im gonna go with his high as hell at this point

  14. YodaCAT Says:

    17-government and religion, you mix.

  15. Tom Says:

*he’s* English is not my strong subject

  16. Intern Says:

And I obviously chose the wrong profession. Amateur athletics is where its at.

  17. jpeazy Says:

#11 Don’t go there man. That’s so not even close to racism. It was tongue-in-cheek, but I was making a point. Racism and capitalism are not two and the same. I would expect a socialist such as yourself to know the difference.

  18. jzoneblue Says:

well, if the public university gave them the money as many of you insinuated, that is tax money.

  19. dailyminefield Says:

That’s right, because he didn’t recruit Beverly, lol.

  20. dailyminefield Says:

FDR started welfare, not college scholarships.

  21. Red Rooster Says:

Dailyminefield, you can’t be serious. I refuse to believe it. To have a negative sense of humor just isn’t cool these days. You aware of that? And about Arkansas, get a joke. Good Lord. Annette Legion told me you will never have a sense of humor.

  22. GoCats Says:

#6 it was emory not fedex and please never mention it again

  23. jzoneblue Says:

these guys are putting themselves in danger by flashing wads of cash.

  24. GoCats Says:

#5 it was emory, not fedex and please never mention it again.

  25. dailyminefield Says:

I have a sense of humor, but some of the original comments were deleted that were very suggestive and automatically labeled these kids as welfare recipients because they were from “Arkansas”, yeah right. Some of the original comments were deleted that would piss anyone off who doesn’t think like that. Sorry for my sensitivity, but I’m not gonna let comments like the ones that were deleted go on and at least not check someone for their intentions or thought processes. Some were deleted for a reason and I didn’t delete them so you figure it out. THEY WERE EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE SO I FELT THE NEED TO SAY SOMETHING. I enjoy the picture though. How much herb did PB smoke before that picture.

  26. Mr Schwump Says:

If The Nutt is leaving that imagine what Ole Miss must be like!

  27. Mike Kleitz Says:

#25 I didn’t agree with the post that were deleted either, but your last comment is inappropriate as it is directed at a group of college kids and you have no clue if they smoked herb or not

  28. Red Rooster Says:

dailyminefield are you impying that “herb” was smoked due to the prevalance of this practice in rap music and the black community?

  29. gvillecat Says:

maybe if u actually read my comment you wouldn’t have deleted it. Here is my comment again:

“why does seeing two African-American males with a couple hundred dollars elicit comments about welfare? I know football season is over and there is no news on Legion, but is this really worth talking about?”

What exactly is the point in this thread? The picture is being interpreted through the essentialist lens you bring to it. Whether you slander these kids for having a little bit of cash or because you think they smoked “herb”, your comments reflect your own ignorance.

  30. jpeazy Says:

I called Rev. Sharpton and he forgave me. All is well in the PC world. #25 I’m getting you a whistle for christmas, do
    you have a po box?

  31. dailyminefield Says:

No, I’m looking at his eyes. If he’s not stoned he must have just had his eyes closed for the picture. I’ve smoked plenty and can normally tell if someone’s burnt. I would bet $100 he is. I know from experience. I have not been on welfare and would never make that assumption. You’re making the assumption about rap aswell. I think that shows YOUR ignorance. I speak from experience and am not making an assumption of steretype.

  32. dailyminefield Says:

BTW, the comments were deleted due to being inappropriate and in bad taste. As you see only one of mine is deleted because I criticized republicans for wasting money in Iraq, which is an educated guess based on the knowledge available to me. ONE of my comments was deleted, plenty of others were. That tells me mine were probably more appropriate than the others.

  33. dailyminefield Says:

jpeazy apologized because he knew it was inappropriate as it was. I applaud him for that. Bash me all you want I can take it. I’m comfortable with my beliefs and the respect I treat ALL people with. I will not however read those comments and not say something.

  34. Red Rooster Says:

If your last (of 63) posts is true, then treat us with respect then and QUIT POSTING. Hard to stop a guilty conscience, though, I have learned. But keep on going and going if it makes you feel better.

  35. guindage Says:

dude on the right looks like T-Mac.

  36. CatfaninaHat Says:

#24 it Was emory…I stand corrected….but the Joke remains the same…..THOSE ARE Dwayne casey’s hands….
Dailymine field needs to lighten up….the welfare comments are a realkity whether or not you want to believe it….Obviously to much blunt consumption has damaged your brains’ retention ability!

  37. jpeazy Says:

For the record, dailyminefield, spending on the Iraq war is only running around 4% of GDP, relatively conservative for the
defense budget throughtout history (just under 9% in 1991). Meanwhile social “entitlement” programs eat up close to 20% of our nation’s output, by those who actually work and produce. You are very misinformed if you think defense spending is a “problem” in our country.

  38. Japrick Says:

that kind of looks like leonard washington behind them.

  39. Japrick Says:

hey i didn’t know eddie murphy was friends with r. kelly.

  40. dailyminefield Says:

    Jpeazy,
For the record I never said anything about the “defense budget” or the spending on entitlement programs to be a “problem”, for the record both have serious problems and flaw. BTW, whose to decide what an entitlement program is or is not and what the defense budget does or does not include. Is that your term “entitlement”, the fed gov’ts, Rush Limbaughs, the GOP, etc. Money is being wasted in Iraq and that is the only thing I said regarding politics and I have a pretty good idea who initiated that little “skirmish”, it wasn’t me and probably not you, it your money and my money being wasted and I’m not too happy about it. You must be a serious nerd or have nothing better to do if you’re gonna look up GDP numbers and throw a stat out in an attempt to make someone look “misinformed” when they never mentioned defense budget or entitlement.
